Then all of a sudden it will start working again! Seriously thinking of taking it out and putting big standard thermostat in. It's always on coldest days/nights

It's currently showing yesterday's schedule and temperature. I'm not certain when it started, but I first noticed it about four weeks ago. I know Hive are aware of the issue, I don't understand how the don't have the expertise to fix it.

This has been an on going problem now. The heating is set on timer and it doesn’t work half of the time. It wasted a lot of energy when I thought the heating is off but it’s still on for until I go check it and it shouldn’t be the case!

Gateshead, United Kingdom • 3 months agoLooks like their authentication servers are out of action. No one can authenticate them use remote control features via hive accounts. Hive hub seems to connect to the hive servers ok. Just user authentication seems totally down at present.
Hence no app functionality, no login ability online. Desktop SSO dashboard won't work and any integrations into other systems such as Home Assistant that rely on the cloud will not work either.
As usual with Hive, there's probably no one actively monitoring their servers overnight. They will probably realise tomorrow morning and reinitialize their authentication server. But until then I suspect we're all out of luck and have to resort to manual control via thermostats.
