It starts with the picture and audio breaking up then the signal is lost on all channels except the player, prime video, Netflix. Both of us have smart tvs just a couple of years old which were working perfectly until 2 days ago

There was over 200 channels. Over the years it reduced. Now theres only 156 channels which is less channels than Freeview. Can you believebit? Freeview has more channelsbthan Freesat? You may as well say goodbye now to Freesat. Because they are slowly going. Shame but as the saying goes: All good things comes to an end.

My system had worked without any problems for 5 years. Then a week ago the TV channel I was watching started to break up. I switched to the terrestial broadcast, which worked fine. I looked at the Astra satalite stations yesterday and there were none. Today Ihave No TV stations available BUT the signal strength is 100% but the quality is <5%.
Is it possible to have perfect signal strength while rubbish quality?

Today, 28/09/23, many channels have NO signal at all! However, a few, like ch4 are working as usual with 100% signal strength/quality. So, what is going on? Is freest no longer available? Are we being forced to pay for extortionate sat tv? There is NO information anywhere on the net? Complete farce! There is very little worth watching these days anyway, so will probably just stop watching altogether. Certainly NOT worth paying for!

Sky has no issues and I have a zone 2 dish in North Yorkshire.

Human Freesat HDR 1100S 1TB
For the last couple of days On Demand has stopped working despite being connected by WiFi. Message appears "ready when you are" but when trying to connect I'm advised to connect ethernet cable. Has Freesat changed settings which are affecting access to On Demand? At one point of the process there is a suggestion of upgrading the unit. Why should I be forced to spend a substantial amount to replace a perfectly good piece of equipment?

Settle, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland • 1 years agoThe only online player I can access is Netflix. This has been the case for four days now. When attempting to access the others the box says I need to connect which prompts the connection activation dialoge.
Connection is confirmed, I try to access players again and the above repeats.
It's a HDR1100S with powerline adapters providing a wired ethernet connection. I tried using WiFi: same issue.
This occured once earlier in the week, but was resolved with a hard power cycle.
All exactly the same with my spare box (same model). All other checks / usual fixes tried. Router, other devices all fine.
