I have reported issues with no service being available on an intermittent basis to SKY. They have told me Open Reach have issues and are working on them in the WA6 area. I cannot see any Open Reach work schedules listed for this area but have now booked an engineer visit. This intermittent loss of service has been going on for a few weeks. Example:On Wednesday 14th Jan 2026 the service went down about 9.15am and came on for a short time about 10.40pm after resetting the connections a few times but it went off again later.

Openreach had several vans last night on A269, Little Common, outside Bexhill-on-Sea and at circa 22.30 my phone and internet went off. No coincidence, I suspect. Cannot get through to Openreach unless I report damage to their equipment, which I do. Eventually they give me a number which proves to be BT (I no longer have a contract with BT) who after persuasion say they will but do not assist. My service provider checks line. Fault. No repair until Friday. Confirmatory text confirms it is Openreach coming to repair. Still unable to confirm whether outage is general or unique to me (Semi-rural location with few neighbours). Is this the way to run a telephony service?
